All versions listed here work on my APIM module (SYNC 3 incl. Navigation). It is normal that the GPS is not available and partly voice navigation does not work either on the first boot after the update. The reason is that there is still activity in the background. The GPS is usually available at the second start, including navigation. After a lot of searching, reading and translating, I came across direct links to Ford servers hosting the official EU upgrade files for Sync 2. No need to sign up to the Ford India website, just download, extract to the root of a FAT32 formatted USB stick and away you go. Go into the first link and read the instructions first, then open the stick1 folder from the first link and copy everything to the top level of stick 1. Do the same for the second link and stick 2. Then you are good to go.

Last one I saw was for my FiST and it was offered for $149 for the A9 SD card. (grabbed two for < $40 each) eBay is now offering the A10 SD cards for $34-$36 each currently. SYNC updates are free to download via Wi-Fi (SYNC 3 and SYNC 4 & SYNC 4A only) or by using a USB drive.
